Phillip Williams - Senior Pastor

Pastor Phillip is an anointed preacher of the Gospel.  He has served as Pastor of Suncoast Worship Center since January of 2006.  A graduate of Lee University, Pastor Williams has more than 25 years of ministry experience.  He is currently serving on the State Youth and Christian Education board for the Church of God in Florida. 

He and his wife Lisa recently celebrated their 25th anniversary.  They have three children.  Courtney, a 21 year old who is our Junior High Youth Pastor here at SWC....Ty, a 17 year old Senior at Lemon Bay High School....and Avery, an 8 year old second grade student here at Suncoast Christian Academy.  We are blessed to have the Williams family here at SWC.

Lisa Williams - SCA Director/SWC Personnel Director

Pastor Lisa Williams serves in many capacties at Suncoast.  She is the Personnel Director for the church as well as the Director of Suncoast Christian Academy, which provides Christian care and education to children from birth through second grade. 

In addition to these positions she is also a pastor's wife, mother of three, conference speaker, and a woman who loves shopping, scrapbooking and traveling.

Terry Thompson - Associate Pastor

Terry is the Associate Pastor here at Suncoast Worship Center.  He and his wife Debra have been in Youth & Pastoral Ministry for over 20 years.  They oversee several areas of Ministry here including Max Out Student Ministries, Young Adult Ministries, Maintenance Department, and the Media Ministry.

Marcus Abernethy - Family Life Pastor

Marcus & Bobbie Abernethy have been in Youth & Children's Ministry for over 15 years.  Marcus is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Christian Ministries from Lee University.  Bobbie runs her own business and is the Administrator for Hi DEPH Family Ministries. This couple travels extensively as Children's Evangelists during the summers and Conference Speakers throughout the year.  They have been married for over 18 years and they have two amazing teenage daughters, Gabrielle (17) and Andrea (16).  They hold several Family Events, Worship Services, and Multi Generational Services throughout the year here at SWC.

Lisa Hamsher - Christian Education Director

Lisa became a member of Suncoast in 1998.  She has been involved in various ministries since that time; including Toddler/Nursery Director, Vacation Bible School Director, she serves on the board of directors for Suncoast Christian Academy, Life Net Pastor and the board of directors for Life Givers International Ministries as secretary. 

She has been married for over 19 years to Donald and they have six beautiful children; Chelsey, Emily, Benjamin, Abigail, Sarah and Aaron.  Lisa and Donald are also currently foster parents to two wonderful sibling children.  Lisa is part owner with her husband of two local businesses; Hamsher Homes Inc and Hamsher Realty Inc.  She serves as the secretary for both companies. 

Lisa’s personal time is devoted to her family and the family horse ranch in Englewood. Donald is a Liscensed Minister in the Church of God.  He and Lisa recently graduated from the Ministerial Internship Program.

Courtney Williams - Junior High Youth Pastor

Courtney Williams is our Junior High Youth Pastor here at SWC.  She is a recent graduate of Lee University with a BS in Education.  She has a heart to see young people on fire for God.  Stay tuned for more information about this exciting NEW ministry!

Rich Guinto - Youth Praise Band & Media Ministry

Rich and Leslie Guinto have been in ministry for over 13 years.  They have a heart for worship and training young people to give their gifts and talents to the Lord.  Rich leads the Youth Praise Band and also serves in leadership with the Media Department.  Leslie works at Suncoast Christian Academy and also leads our 29:Eleven Performing Arts Ministry for youth and children.  They have two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Leah.

Anthony Sands - Music Minister

Anthony and Holli Sands have been in ministry together since they were 17yrs old. While Anthony has had the privelage of leading worship upfront, It has been his family that has been his suppport that has allowed him to be right where God wants him. Anthony leads the Suncoast Worship Band and Praise Team. Anthony and Holli have two daughters Brooke 15, KarLee 14 and one son A.J. 16.

Bob and Joy Hall have so many incredible experiences to share with the people at Suncoast Worship Center.  They have a heart to get the right people in the right places to fulfill the call of God on their lives.  If you are interested in getting involved in ministry here please contact them by calling the church office.  Thanks.
