Finding your way around an unfamiliar building can be difficult. Having information about what classes are taking place where, and what to do with your children, and how to order a CD of today's message for your unbelieving cousin or sister. In other words, people serving other people through our Welcome Center.

Ushers and Greeters Suncoast Worship Center's Greeters and Ushers are spiritual doorkeepers in the house of God. Our purpose is to provide support and guidance to the leaders and congregation. Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we assist the Senior Pastor and Church leaders in creating a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere for worship. We accomplish this by cheerfully meeting visitors and members with warm pleasant smiles and directing each to a seat while assisting in other areas as necessary.

Security Team The Security Ministry's mission is to safeguard the Suncoast Worship Center family, visitors and facilities during the course of, and in conjunction with, sanctioned worship services, events, and activities. We stand ready to assist church parishioners in emergency circumstances and in areas of fire, safety, loss and accident prevention, facility security monitoring and parking supervision during church events and services.

Armor-Bearers The ancient armorbearer might bear a resemblance to the modern-day golf caddy; he learns the terrain of the course, learns the habits of the "pro" and tries to anticipate what will be needed. Our church "Armourbearers" are there to minister to the Pastor and our visiting guest speakers. Serving our leaders, meeting their needs and protecting them as well as providing prayer coverage are the essential components of an ArmourBearer.

Hospitality Teams The Scriptures urge us to practice hospitality. Who knows when we might unknowingly entertain angels? Our Hospitality Teams oversee any church activity related to food. As events are scheduled on the church calendar, the hospitality team will need to be involved. Events such as (but not limited to):

* Church Banquets (i.e. Christmas banquet; pastor anniversary etc.) * Pot Luck Dinners * Special Guest or Leadership Dinners * Pastor Fellowship Dinners

The hospitality team will handle details concerning the event. This could be as simple has handling the preparation and clean up for the event. Far more often it will involve choosing the menu, food shopping, preparation, decorating, serving and clean up as well as enlisting others to help during the event. Our goal is to have 3 or 4 teams so the events can be spread out among them. If you would like to be involved in this area, call the church office.
