Hi-Deph

The television industry term "Hi Def" means higher than standard, having lines that are clear and defined, and refers to the highest quality. We based the name for our Family Life Ministry on this term and the Word of God. We believe God wants our family life to be higher than standard, to have morals, values, and boundary lines that are clear and defined, and to have the highest quality family relationships. Strong churches are made of strong families.

Hi DEPH Family Life Ministry is not exclusively for parents with children, but encompasses the ENTIRE church family.

The D. stands for Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Deuteronomy 6:5-7 (NIV) Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

The EPH. stands for Ephesians 6:4

Ephesians 6:4 (NIV) Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
