Fig Tree Food Pantry

The Fig Tree Food Pantry plays a vital role in the Englewood community. With the combined efforts of two major food drives in May and November, low-cost purchases and donations from All Faiths Food Bank in Sarasota, and by the generous donations of our members throughout the year, we are able to meet the basic nutritional needs of many families and individuals who are struggling in this economy.

Our pantry has been in operation for many years, serving as a source of emergency food supply. In addition to donated canned and packaged foods, cash donations enable us to purchase some meat for our freezers.

Fig Tree Food Pantry is open the first and third Tuesday of every month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please bring a Government issued I.D. and a current utility bill. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status or national origin.
